thats nuts. must be a canadian thing. i thought everything adult in previews was supposed to be like a pdf that you downloaded or something.

  3. It’s on page 309 of the June Previews. Same one in Canada as the States.

    Haha, fail.

You know that person’s got to be super excited they were in previews to begin with these days and they got put right next to some really cheesy smut.

  5. Especially since the author is a ten-year-old girl.

Whoops, I did a little research and this kid could probably give a crap.

She’s like six and nominated for Eisners, Harveys, and getting praised by R. Crumb and Neil Gaiman. Like she cares what previews lists her with. Her mom might care though, I’m getting a comic book stage mom vibe from that whole website there.

You’re right, Alexa Kitchen. Grown Ups ARE Dumb. Sheesh, Previews, get your act together already.

Wait, was that a sarcastic slowclap or were you actually praising the previews? The inconsitency of the use of `slow clap’ is more maddening to me that any unfortonuate product placement in previews (I mean really, what do we expect by now). I mean I always thought a `slow clap’ was a gradual building of applause as the awesomeness of something slowly dawns on the audience. Which is it, pop culture, which is it?

  9. It’s a sarcastic slow clap that mocks their poor decision making.

If ever I use the term “slow clap” to express approval, I will say “slow clap that gradually increases in tempo, is joined by many other pairs of hands, and builds to a thunderous crescendo of celebration and awe.”

  10. skullduggery says:

    I actually laughed at that.
    I thought it was funny.
I thought Grown Ups Are Dumb was the perfect response to the solictiation on the left.

But yeah, that is a very unfortunate placement.

    Thanks for the clarification!
